Spokane native joins Padden’s legislative team

Spokane native Angela Wolfe has joined the legislative team of Sen. Mike Padden, R-Spokane Valley, in time for the 2013 legislative session, which begins next Monday. Wolfe brings education experience and a spirit of service to the residents of the 4th Legislative District.

“I’m thrilled to have Angela on my talented team in the state Senate,” Padden said. “Her years of education experience and her intimate knowledge of the district will make her an invaluable addition.”

Wolfe is a graduate of Thomas Edison State College in New Jersey and comes to the Senate after experience at the East Valley School District in Spokane Valley, where she worked as a community expert and tutor to form parent-teacher partnerships.

“Working with Senator Padden is a very exciting opportunity for me,” Wolfe said. “I’m very excited to help contribute to his work serving Fourth District residents, and I’m looking forward to understanding the legislative process more thoroughly.”

Wolfe’s grandfather is former 4th District Rep. Charlie Wolfe, who served with Padden in the state House of Representatives from 1989 to 1991.

“Having served with Angela’s grandfather assures me that she is an excellent addition to my legislative team, and she’ll be ready to help my constituents from day one,” Padden said. “Her service is a real asset to the entire Fourth District.”

Wolfe started her training today and will serve during the entire 105-day session.
